The Festive Season Strategy

Christmas and New Year command a premium surcharge of 60–120% across top-tier luxury properties globally. The question isn't the budget — it's where the value is and when to commit.

The Inventory Lock

The festive season operates on a different inventory model. Top-tier properties at St. Barths and the Maldives hold between 8–14 sellable villas or overwater units. At peak periods, the effective waitlist begins 12 months out.

Villa rentals through curators like Plum GuideCommission-linked can provide an alternative to hotel stock when target properties are full — particularly for family groups of 8+.

The Booking Protocol

  • JanConfirm destination. Begin property shortlist.
  • MarReserve top choice and hold backup. Air research begins.
  • AprConfirm flights. Seaplane/transfer logistics locked.
  • JulPre-departure preferences and dietary communication sent.
  • NovFinal confirmation of all logistics. Emergency protocols shared.

The Arrival Flow

01.

Pre-Flight Orchestration

Lounge access, private terminal where available, and a desk contact reachable during your transit. If your connection is at risk, the property is notified before you land.

02.

The Transition Portal

First-night arrival is never used for "settling in". The desk pre-arranges a welcome experience — a private dinner, a sunset activity — so the holiday starts immediately.

03.

Seamless In-Residence

Dietary preferences, pillow configurations, daily schedule, restaurant bookings, activity slots — all communicated and confirmed before arrival. Nothing requested at the property.

04.

Secure Your Peak Position

The desk manages your checkout positioning: late checkout, airport transfers, and city-side lounge arrangements as standard for all festive briefs.
